It is with great pleasure and honor that I serve as the Leader of Baychester Academy. Baychester Academy is a very special school. We are so delighted to welcome all of our scholars this school year. Baychester Academy school community has worked collaboratively to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff. One of our many strengths is a sense of community coupled with high expectations for our students. Respect, Organize, Cooperative, Kind, Safe; these are words that guide our daily actions and choices here at Baychester Academy. They instill a sense of community, shape the experiences of all who come through our doors and remind us of our commitment to each other.
The teachers, all supporting staff and I will endeavor to maintain a sense of community for our students and families especially in this unprecedented time. Our teachers, paraprofessionals, social worker and parent coordinator will continuously check in with individual students and entire classes, creating touch points and maintaining relationships. These structures are vital to maintaining a sense of continuity throughout this period.

Our school's mission is to foster a safe and supportive learning environment with strong parental partnerships and collaboration among educators. We strive to educate the whole child academically, emotionally, and socially. Through data-driven instruction and rigorous tasks, we prepare each child with foundational tools necessary for success in middle school, high school and college. Baychester Academy provides students with opportunities to expand and grow in the classroom as productive citizens.
